Placements and the season reset

—placement games

Each ranked mode tracks your rank separately. Battle Royale and Zero Build share one, and Reload has its own.

Season reset

Ranks partially reset when a season ends. Once you reach Elite you cannot drop below it for the rest of the season, and Unreal keeps you in Unreal until the next reset.

Who can you queue with?

Epic publishes no rank-gap limit for ranked parties. A duo or squad is matched at the rank of its highest-ranked member; Ranked Ballistic uses the party's average rank instead.
