Placements and the season reset
Since Season 7 (March 2026), placement matches judge your own performance rather than only your team's result. New players start from an estimated rank.
Season reset
Ranks drop at the start of every full season, and you climb back from there.

Party size depends on rank. Bronze to Grandmaster can party in any size except five; from Celestial up you can only play solo or as a duo.

- Party sizes
- Bronze–Grandmaster: 1, 2, 3, 4 or 6 players. Celestial and above: solo or duo.
- Exceptions
- A party with a player still in placements is capped at three, with its highest and lowest members less than three divisions apart.
