You must attain at least Honored status with the Argent Dawn faction and consult Archmage Angela Dosantos at Light's Hope Chapel, Eastern Plaguelands — she will provide the attunement quest. Be aware that this quest requires you to provide rare resources to the Archmage; your standing with the Argent Dawn determines how many materials are needed, with higher reputation reducing the cost. Reaching Exalted grants you the attunement at no cost. The choice of how to proceed is yours.
What is the minimum level required to enter Naxxramas?+
Entry into Naxxramas in WoW Classic requires you to be at least level 60. In other words, you must hit the maximum level cap available in Classic. Because Naxxramas is an incredibly difficult raid featuring numerous lethal encounters, reaching the maximum level is essential for your success.
Which gear is necessary for Naxxramas?+
Naxxramas is packed with a wide variety of bosses, making it difficult to suggest specific gear beyond the standard food and potions you are expected to carry. This raid is notoriously difficult, especially in Vanilla, so bringing the best possible gear is obviously recommended.
The only specific requirement you should prepare for is Frost Resistance, which is necessary for the encounter against Sapphiron. Furthermore, while your support players should be capable of removing poison effects, remember that many Naxx bosses are capable of poisoning you.
How can I gain access to Naxxramas in Classic?+
Classic Naxxramas mandates attunement before raid entry is permitted. Depending on your current standing, this process can be either quite straightforward or extremely time-consuming. It is entirely dependent on your reputation with the Argent Dawn.
You are required to reach at least Honored with the faction to accept the attunement quest, which involves delivering various rare materials to Archmage Angela Dosantos in Light's Hope Chapel. By comparison, those who are Revered only need to provide half the materials, while Exalted players receive the attunement for free with no further requirements.
