Riot Games, the developer behind the immensely popular MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) game, League of Legends, is notorious for its secretive nature when it comes to upcoming projects. One such mystery that has been intriguing the gaming community for some time now is Project F. While much of the project is still under wraps, here's what we know so far.
The Concept of Project F
Project F was first announced during the 10-year anniversary edition of Riot Pls, amidst the unveiling of multiple other games from Riot Games, such as Legends of Runeterra, Teamfight Tactics Mobile, and League of Legends: Wild Rift. At the time, Project F was only briefly shown and Riot Games notably avoided any prolonged discussion about it in their announcement video.

It's also known that the game will feature different classes, potentially divided similarly to the MOBA version, with Tanks, Mages, Fighters, Slayers, and Controllers. Greg Street, former EP of the MMO project at Riot Games, has also mentioned that there will be raids, a feature common in games of the same genre.
Characters and Regions in Project F
Champions seen in the teaser, such as Blitzcrank and Ezreal, are expected to appear in the game. In addition, it's likely that Riot will include some of the most popular League champions like Lux, Akali, Yasuo, and many more. However, there's still no confirmation on how many and which characters will be included in the game.
Considering that the League universe is based on Runeterra, players can expect to explore various regions in Project F. These regions include Bandle City, Bilgewater, Demacia, Ionia, Ixtal, Noxus, Piltover, Shadow Isles, Shurima, Targon, The Freljord, and Zaun. The Void, however, might be missing as it's technically an inaccessible place in the League universe, but who knows, it might be implemented as a special map.
