Dota 2 Coaching From Verified Immortals
Dota is the hardest MOBA in the world because the cost of a single bad decision compounds for 40+ minutes. Most hard-stuck Archon through Ancient players lose MMR to the same small set of habits — over-extending in lane, greedy farming in a losing game, playing the wrong hero into the matchup, ignoring Roshan, missing smoke timings. Every Dota 2 coach on BoostRoyal is Immortal, many top-1000 regionally, and every session is built around fixing those habits, not cosmetic stuff.
The Coaches
Each coach profile lists MMR, leaderboard history, main role (1 through 5), hero pool, region and languages. Several have Division 2 DPC league or amateur team coaching experience.
What a Session Covers
Sessions run over Discord with screen-share. A VOD review goes through 1–2 of your recent ranked games: lane stage (runes, pulls, trades), mid game (item timings, smoke, vision), late game (Roshan, high-ground calls, teamfight positioning). Live sessions have the coach watching you queue and feeding tempo and itemisation calls as the game develops. Every session ends with a role and hero-pool plan.
Per-Bracket Focus
- Herald to Archon: last-hitting, safe-lane fundamentals, hero pool of 3 heroes strong on the patch, not dying in lane.
- Legend and Ancient: objective priority, smoke timings, Roshan, itemisation against the enemy lineup, basic draft reads.
- Divine and Immortal: macro rotations, tempo control, draft, late-game protocols, mental control under long losing games.
Safe and Allowed
Coaches never log into your account. All feedback happens over voice and screen-share while you play your own client. Fully within the Steam Subscriber Agreement.
Ready to Climb MMR?
Pick a coach who has climbed in the role you play, book an hour, and come with one recent ranked replay. The difference in the first 20 games of your next solo queue session is going to be obvious.
All Dota 2 coaches on BoostRoyal are Immortal, and a large share are top-1000 or top-500 on the regional leaderboard. Several have played in Division 2 of the DPC regional leagues or coached amateur teams. Every coach is vetted on current MMR, leaderboard history, and ability to actually teach the game.
Sessions happen on Discord with screen-share. A VOD review goes through 1–2 of your recent ranked games: laning phase, rune and pull timings, item timings, Roshan priority, smoke and vision, teamfight positioning, high-ground decisions. Live sessions have the coach watching you queue in real time, giving you tempo and itemisation calls as the game develops. Every session ends with a hero pool plan and 2–3 focus points.
Yes. One of the first things a coach does is help you pick a role (1/2/3/4/5) that fits your playstyle, then build a small hero pool of 3–5 heroes strong on the current patch. Trying to one-trick an unviable hero is the biggest MMR trap in Dota, so narrowing your pool plus a proper ban/pick plan usually moves MMR faster than any mechanical fix.
Standard sessions are 1 hour. That covers one in-depth VOD review or one live ranked game plus analysis afterwards. Dota games are long, so many players book 2-hour blocks for a full replay plus a live match.
Absolutely. Each coach profile lists the roles they specialise in — hard carry, mid, offlane, soft support, hard support. Filter by role so your coach has actually climbed to Immortal playing the same position you’re working on.
