Frequently asked questions
What is the process for obtaining the Varian Wrynn transmog set in WoW?+
To achieve a look resembling Varian Wrynn, you must finish the Human Heritage questline, An Urgent Matter, which grants three distinct color versions of the same set:
- Ensemble: Lion's Heritage Blue Armor Set;
- Ensemble: Lion's Heritage Scarlet Armor Set;
- Ensemble: Lion's Heritage White Armor Set.
You specifically require the blue version, utilizing its Shoulders, Belt, and Legs.
For a stylish fur-lined Cloak, the Trashmaster's Mantle, travel to the Mythic Operation: Mechagon dungeon, where K.U.-J.0. offers it as a drop with a roughly 15% probability.
The Chest is a vital component. If you are Alliance, you can obtain Far-a-Day Mesh by finishing the Batteries Not Yet Included quest, found within the Southern Barrens story. A matching piece is available for Horde players by completing the Changing of the Gar'dul quest, located in the same region.
The Hands, Gauntlets of Revelation, are essential for the set and drop from The Black Knight inside the Trial of the Champion dungeon, though the drop rate is only about 9%. Alternatively, you might farm Crystalbark's Toenail, which is lootable from the Old Crystalbark rare located in Borean Tundra.
You can buy the impressive Wild Gladiator's Warboots of Cruelty for 2 Marks of Honor from Amelia Clarke in Stormshield if you are Alliance. Horde players can acquire a similar item, Warmongering Gladiator's Warboots of Cruelty, for 2 Marks of Honor from Malukah Lightsong in Warspear.
To finalize the set, acquire either the Replicated Relic Blade or the Forerunner's Relic Blade 1H sword, both available from So'turu in Oribos for 1 Puzzling Cartel Dinar.
