Frequently asked questions
What is the start date for the Witch Queen Raid?+
The launch date for this raid was 03.05.2022
Is a fresh Subclass arriving with The Witch Queen?+
It will not, although Bungie did provide a commitment that the Void Subclass would undergo a rework to align with the updated design philosophy for Light And Darkness classes.
What is the location of the Witch Queen?+
The setting for Witch Queen is Savatun's Throne World. Every Hive god possesses a unique ascendant plane known as a Throne World, granting them total control. It is documented that individuals outside the Hive, like Mara Sov, have constructed their own throne worlds as well.
These throne worlds serve as the actual sanctuary for Hive gods. A Hive god can only experience true death if they are eliminated within their throne world. As an example, while Oryx was overcome in the physical realm of the Dreadnought, his final defeat only occurred once guardians vanquished him inside his throne world.
