You can gain entry to the Dark Aether Rifts by finishing the 'Bad Signal' Story Mission found in Act 4. Once you step through the portal, destroy 4 seals and overcome the primary boss, Gorm'gant. This will grant you the Locked Diary, which serves as one of the 4 items needed to unlock permanent portal access.
Next, obtain a security camera by destroying a harvester orb while your weapon is equipped with the Dead Wire mode. The orb will shift to gold, and upon destruction, it will drop a purple surveillance camera. Proceed by locating an orange ether tear and flying through it with the purple security camera in your possession. This triggers a purple bounty contract; defeat the specific Elite enemy to claim the golden Surveillance Camera.
To obtain the subsequent artifact, utilize the Brain Rot mode. As you navigate the ether nest, fire at the cyst once to change its color to green. Pick up the purple pill bottle, then find another ether tear to glide through the green rift. This will initiate another purple bounty contract. Slay the Elite enemy to secure the golden Pill Bottle.
The final item needed is the Dog Collar. Visit any dog house on the map and offer 1 piece of Flesh along with 1 Molotov. This summons a dog enemy; kill it to retrieve the purple Dog Collar. Find the red ether tear floating in the air to trigger a final purple bounty contract. Complete this task to earn the golden Dog Collar.
With all 4 legendary artifacts in your possession, place them onto the designated pedestals. This will cause a large Dark Ether rift to manifest, containing a Mega Abomination that you must destroy. Once defeated, a reward rift will appear holding 1 Sigil. Insert the Sigil to activate the portal.
