Frequently asked questions
What exactly are Timewalking dungeons?+
In World of Warcraft, Timewalking dungeons function as unique occurrences enabling users to experience content from past expansions, adjusted to align with the character's present level. Throughout a Timewalking event, participants utilize the Dungeon Finder to join, while their ilvl and abilities undergo scaling to mirror the challenge level of that dungeon when it was current. The specific dungeons accessible are determined by which expansion is currently highlighted in the Timewalking event.
What is the frequency of Timewalking events?+
Timewalking events generally take place every several weeks, cycling alongside various other activities on the WoW calendar. Every Timewalking event spans seven days, starting on Tuesday (NA) or Wednesday (EU) and concluding the subsequent Monday night or Tuesday morning. Because the rotation typically highlights a single expansion for each Timewalking event, you can expect a particular expansion's Timewalking event to appear roughly once every few months, contingent upon the cycle.
