Prior to reaching the midgame, optimizing your equipment is not necessary. Once you arrive there, you can purchase gear FFXIV in Pillars. Several merchants offer equipment ranging from 30th to 60th level in exchange for Gils. For levels 70–80, travel to the Crystarium. Shai-Tistt, Doddard, and Ania provide full sets of equipment for your character, provided you have enough Gils.

Things become more complex as you progress. Level 80th vendors are located throughout Endwalker zones, and you will likely need to locate these spots on your own by completing sidequests. 2. Light-Heavy Set (710 ilvl)

While this set is acquired through the AAC Light-heavyweight Tier, making it a challenging acquisition, its 710 ilvl makes it a worthwhile improvement. It requires more effort to obtain but offers a substantial increase in power.

3. Pentamelded Gear 710 ilvl

   Should you require a set tailored to specific stats, Pentamelded gear 710 ilvl is a solid choice. Although it is a specialized option, it enables you to customize your equipment for maximum efficiency based on your role and playstyle.

4. Pentamelded Gear 720 ilvl

   Following the acquisition of your Pentamelded 710 ilvl gear, you should strive for Pentamelded 720 ilvl gear. This superior set provides enhanced stats, further boosting your performance.

5. Full Savage Set (730/735 ilvl)

   These items are generally earned from the most recent Savage raid and offer the highest item level, representing the BiS (Best in Slot) for the majority of roles. This set serves as your ultimate endgame gear, granting you the maximum power required to conquer the game's most difficult challenges.
