FACEIT has a separate and pretty straightforward ranking system, with 1 being the lowest rank and 10 being the highest. With that being said, level 10 FACEIT players are the best of the best. For comparison, Global Elite rank, the highest in the base game, is only around level 6-7 on FACEIT. That being said, while level 10 speaks of a truly great skill level, not all lvl 10 players are equal.

FACEIT ranks players by simple number system, from 1 to 10, with Level 10 being the highest rank on the platform. That being said, just because two players are both level 10, it doesn't mean that there can’t be great difference between their skill and this is why it's important to look at player’s ELO, which determines the rank in the first place.Here’s what FACEIT ranking looks like:

• Level 1: 1 - 800
• Level 2: 801 - 950
• Level 3: 951 - 1100
• Level 4: 1101 - 1250
• Level 5: 1251 - 1400
• Level 6: 1401 - 1550
• Level 7: 1551 - 1700
• Level 8: 1701 - 1850
• Level 9: 1851 - 2000
• Level 10: 2001 +

It’s hard to give ELO a proper definition, but long story short, it's a system evaluating a player's performance in the game. The term itself originally came from chess of all things and there is no norm for how ELO functions - it can behave differently from game to game.

But generally speaking, CS2 ELO checks for the rounds you won, the rounds you lost, as well as your personal contribution. All you have to know is that the more wins you have and the greater your own contribution is, the higher your ELO and rank will be.
